The unique running route is largely responsible for the success of the Stuiben Trailrun in Umhausen. The absolute highlights are the 728 natural and steel steps at the highest waterfall in Tyrol and the truly breathtaking summit panoramas. However, the rest of the running route also proves to be extremely challenging. You can expect crisp single trails and technically very demanding passages, some of which lead through alpine terrain. But it's not all uphill. You can also expect a 4.5 km long downhill, where you will leave over 1,000 metres of altitude behind you. In total, you will cover more than 3,100 metres in altitude during the main run, which means that the Stuiben Trailrun is only for the really experienced trail runners among you. If you don't want to get into trail running that hard straight away, you can also opt for the 12.5 km or the 4 km trail run. However, the 728 natural and steel steps await you at both events. This means that you will need to have extremely strong leg muscles.
