New Years Eve Run in Linz

The New Year's Eve run in Linz can already look back on over 20 years of tradition. In contrast to many other New Year's Eve runs, the New Year's Eve run in Linz focusses on fun. There is a costume classification and a children's run. A total of 1,000 runners take part in the New Year's Eve run in Linz, who don't want to miss out on the last run of the year.

There are two distances to choose from at the Linz New Year's Eve Run. You can choose between a 3 km and a 6 km run. Both runs take you on a 3 km circuit directly through the centre of Linz. This gives you the chance to run around Linz on New Year's Eve before the festivities begin in the evening. If you register for the main race, you will have to run round the circuit twice. As the distances on offer are very short overall, basically anyone with a normal level of fitness can take part in the Linz New Year's Eve Run. Due to the central location, there are also plenty of spectators at the edge of the course to cheer you on and create a great atmosphere.
