Mountainman in Grossarltal

Description

The Mountainman in Grossarltal (Austria) is a firmly established trail run in the scene, which is being organised in Grossarltal for the sixth time this year. But that's not all, the Mountainman in Grossarltal is also part of the Mountainman trail run series, which consists of three runs this year. The trail run in the eponymous town of Grossarl is organised in the so-called ‘Valley of the Alms’, which will inspire you with fantastic trails.

At the MOUNTAINMAN in Grossarltal, you will need plenty of trail running experience to prove yourself on the 15 km, 30 km and 50 km running distances. The running routes themselves are all very challenging. The route takes you along fantastic single trails, narrow ridges and crisp summits. So it's no wonder that even the smallest event, the 15 km trail run, has around 860 metres of altitude to overcome. In the main run, there are 2,560 metres of altitude on the 50 km route. However, you will be rewarded for your efforts at every step, as the Mountainman in Grossarltal leads through a beautiful landscape where you will encounter cows, goats, sheep and horses alongside your competitors.
