The Linz Danube Marathon is a race of superlatives. Every year, over 20,000 participants take part in the Linz Danube Marathon, who are in turn cheered on by over 100,000 spectators. This makes the Linz Donau Marathon a gigantic running festival that you should visit at least once in your life.
There are three running distances to choose from at the Linz Danube Marathon. You can choose between a 10.5 km run, a half marathon and a marathon. All three distances run directly through Linz, so you can look forward to a special kind of sightseeing tour if you take part. With its challenging distances, the Linz Marathon appeals more to performance-orientated runners who love to cover long distances.
