Description
The Achensee Run in Pertisau is rightly described as the most beautiful panoramic run in Austria. Around 1,500 runners, including many stars of the international running scene, set off on the impressive circuit around Lake Achensee every year. The Achensee Run has been held since 2000 and thrills the crowds every year.
There are two running distances to choose from at the Achensee Run in Pertisau. You can either take part in the 10 km fun run or the 23.2 km main run. Both running routes are very varied and lead over gravel, tarmac and forest paths, which makes them very challenging for runners. You also have a marvellous view of Lake Achensee throughout the entire run. While the 10-km run only runs partly along the shores of Lake Achensee, the main run takes you all the way round the lake.
