Description
The SOLA Zurich is a multi-day running event that has been held in Switzerland since 1974. Every year, around 1,000 relay teams with around 14,000 participants take part in SOLA Zurich. This makes SOLA Zurich one of the largest running events in the whole of Switzerland.
The running course at SOLA Zurich is 113.85 kilometres long and divided into 14 sections. Each of the sections is between 3.71 km and 14.09 km long. The teams at SOLA Zurich consist of 14 starters, so you are free to decide which team member completes which section. The running course itself runs in and around Zurich, which means you can discover Zurich from a completely new perspective when you take part in the SOLA. As part of the running route runs right through Zurich, you will of course also pass numerous sights, making the SOLA Zurich a short sightseeing tour.
