They call it the ‘run of the five-thousand-metre peaks’ - and for good reason. The Sierre-Zinal is 31 kilometres of pure trail running magic through the Valais, with spectacular views of the Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Obergabelhorn, Matterhorn and Dent Blanche.
From the start in Sierre (585 m), the route climbs over 2,200 metres in altitude, past dense forests, alpine meadows and rugged mountain trails. The route combines technical trails with breathtaking panoramic paths before you reach the finish in Zinal (1,675 m) after a challenging descent.
