Nordberliner Zugspitzlauf in Berlin

Anyone who thinks that Berlin is all flatland will be proven wrong at the Nordberliner Zugspitzlauf. The Nordberliner Zugspitzlauf is held directly on the grounds of the Lübars leisure park. This is located in Berlin Reinickendorf and even has a 300 metre long ski and toboggan slope. So it's no wonder that a whopping 300 metres in altitude have to be conquered at this top event.

You can choose between one of three distances at the North Berlin Zugspitzlauf. For beginners, there is the 4 km fun run with 75 metres of elevation gain, for advanced runners the 8 km M-distance with 150 metres of elevation gain and for experienced runners the 12 km L-distance with 300 metres of elevation gain. The running route itself is a 4 km circuit, mostly on paved forest and meadow paths as well as on tarmac. So if the real Zugspitze is too far away for you, but you still want to scrub off a few metres in altitude, then the Zugspitzlauf in Berlin is just right for you.
