Description
The Lichtenstein Trail Marathon is a real highlight right at the start of the trail running season. The Lichtenstein Trail Marathon is held around the beautiful Echaztal valley. The trail run includes a marathon, a half marathon and a speed trail. The Lichtenstein Marathon and the half marathon are even regarded as the ‘unofficial German Trail Marathon and Trail Half Marathon Championships’.
The Lichtenstein Trail Marathon was launched four years ago by TRAIL Magazine, the leading trade journal for trail running. The running route is very varied and leads through deep forests, gorges and along fantastic single trails. The top event, the trail marathon, awaits you with 2,100 metres of altitude to conquer. For all those of you who want to go very fast or are still beginners, the 10 km speed trail is just the right running event.
