The corporate run in Halle Saale is one of the two founding runs of the ‘Firmenlauf’ and can already look back on 11 years of tradition this year. Of all the races in the series, the corporate run in Halle Saale is one of the largest races in the entire series with around 3,000 starters.
The venue for the corporate run in Halle Saale is the Ziegelwiese, which means that this corporate run is organised away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. As with the other races in the series, the main aim of the corporate run is to strengthen the team spirit within a company. This is why there are no individual starters, only team starts in the form of a relay. Each relay consists of four runners, each of whom has to complete the approximately 2.5 km circuit.
