Run towards the horizon - at the Fehmarn Marathon. If you want to feel the wind of the Baltic Sea in your face and live out your passion for running on one of the most beautiful islands in Germany, the Fehmarn Marathon is just the thing for you.
The routes take you over tarmac roads, dykes and uneven country lanes through the east of the island of Fehmarn. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea and the island's diverse nature.
The start and finish areas are located at the sports ground of the island school in Burg auf Fehmarn. Here you will not only find a warm atmosphere, but also shower and changing facilities as well as luggage storage in the ‘Teestube’ clubhouse.
The time is measured using a foot chip that is attached to the running shoe. Prize money of up to €200 awaits the overall winner of the marathon.
