Description

The Cuxhaven Marathon not only impresses with its varied programme for participants, but also with a varied running route with a unique maritime flair. Cuxhaven itself is located directly on the North Sea coast, which makes a trip to the Cuxhaven Marathon twice as worthwhile. The Cuxhaven Marathon has been held since 2007 and has long been one of the annual sporting highlights in and around Cuxhaven.

You can register for one of five running events at the Cuxhaven Marathon. You can choose between a 6 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and a 31.65 km run as well as a marathon. If you want to enter with your whole company, you can do so in the company run, which is organised as part of the Cuxhaven Marathon. The start is right in the city centre and the 10 km circuit takes you past numerous sights in Cuxhaven. These include the Alte Liebe, Grimmershörn Bay and Kugelbake. In addition, the Döse and Duhnen districts, which are popular with holidaymakers, are also included in the Cuxhaven Marathon. This means that a large part of the running route runs directly along the water, which will delight the nature lovers among you in particular.
