Description
The Cross de Luxe Leipzig is a challenging obstacle course that takes place in a former open-cast mine near Leipzig. Now in its ninth season, the Cross de Luxe will do everything in its power to defend its title as the most legendary obstacle course in the East. A total of around 3,000 participants take part in the Cross de Luxe in Leipzig every year.
The Cross de Luxe course is peppered with around 26 obstacles with adventurous names such as ‘Jacob's Ladder’, ‘Full Wash’ or ‘Hell's Staircase’. But as cool as the names sound, they conceal obstacles that will demand a lot from you. In addition to a healthy dose of stamina, you will also need strength and coordination skills to reach the finish line of the Cross de Luxe.
Regardless of these basic qualities, a great deal of sporting ambition is also required. The 20 fastest runners compete against each other in a 3 km sprint race at the end to crown the winners. Despite all the desire for fame and honour, the top priority in sport must be observed - fair play!
