If you are looking for sporting motivation in the run-up to Christmas, the Advent run in Mörfelden is just the thing for you. In the middle of the Mörfelden forest, a family running event awaits you that combines exercise, nature and community.
You can choose between two distances: a 5 km run and a 10 km run. Both distances are officially measured, every kilometre is marked and they run along well-surfaced, flat forest paths around the SKV forest stadium. The conditions are ideal for personal best times or a relaxed run through the wintry countryside.
The warm atmosphere of the event is particularly noteworthy. After the run, you can fortify yourself with coffee, cake and boiled sausage in the sports centre. All participants receive a medal, and the first three finishers in each age group are honoured with certificates. There are also prizes for the overall winners and a cash prize for improving the course records.
The Advent Run is part of the LG Mörfelden-Walldorf winter running series and offers you the opportunity to compete with other running enthusiasts or simply experience the joy of running in a community. Lace up your running shoes and join in - a sporty end to the year that will be remembered.
